How the conversion works
Each CSV row becomes a JSON object whose keys come from the header row, or an array if you prefer. Fields in double quotes can contain delimiters and line breaks, and a doubled quote inside them means one quote. Empty cells stay empty strings, and missing cells become null.

Does it handle commas inside values?
Yes. Wrap the value in double quotes, as spreadsheets do when they export CSV, and the comma is kept as part of the value.
What about semicolon or tab separated files?
The delimiter is detected automatically. You can also pick it by hand.
Why are some numbers still text?
Values such as 007 or 1,5 are kept as text so no information is lost. Turn off number conversion to keep every value as text.
Is my data uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere.
