Drop static PNG, JPG or WebP images here, or choose files.
Select up to 20 files, 100 MiB combined. Each image: up to 20 MiB, 16 megapixels and 8,192 pixels per side. Static PNG, JPG and WebP only.Your image is processed in this tab, not uploaded or saved by Dotool. Refreshing or closing the tab clears it. My workspace saves only a link to the tool.

Common settings apply to every file. With Keep proportions in Pixels mode, the width is shared and each height follows its own image. Files are processed one at a time.

ZIP includes ready files only, including clearly marked results that did not reach their target. It bundles the image files without recompressing them.
Target size and reduction need JPG or WebP. Select one of these formats to enable them.
Higher quality usually creates a larger JPG or WebP. PNG does not use this setting.
Lossless mode uses OxiPNG to optimise the original PNG when dimensions are unchanged. Pixel values and transparency are preserved. Changing Image size still resizes pixels. No colour quantisation is applied.
Used for JPG transparency and for added borders in Fit with background.
Settings changed. Generate a new preview to update the result.
Drag the divider to compare the result with the original in the same view. Zoom focuses on the centre; download the file to inspect the full image.
Previews fit the available space. Open or download the result to inspect it at full size.
Use the generated image as the input for another tool, without choosing a file again.
Canvas export re-encodes pixels. Original metadata is not preserved; colour appearance may vary. This is not a lossless metadata-preserving optimiser.
PNG lossless mode uses OxiPNG, preserving pixel values and transparency at unchanged dimensions. For JPG and WebP, choose quality or search for a target size or percentage reduction. A target is an upper limit, not an exact size. Reducing Image size removes pixels regardless of the encoding method.
All tools →For JPG and WebP, choose Target file size or Target reduction. The tool searches quality values from 10 to 100 and keeps a measured result under your limit when found. It does not add padding to make a file exactly that size, or silently reduce dimensions. If the target cannot be reached at quality 10, it shows the attempt and asks you to reduce dimensions or change format.
No. Quality controls the image encoder; it is not a file-size percentage. Target reduction measures the requested reduction against the selected original file in bytes. The displayed saving always uses the actual generated file size.
No. An already optimised image may become larger when re-encoded. The size comparison reports increases as well as savings. Try lower quality, smaller dimensions or another format.
PNG output in Image Compressor offers Lossless optimisation with OxiPNG or Standard PNG export. Lossless mode passes original PNG bytes directly to the optimiser when dimensions are unchanged and retains colours even in fully transparent pixels. If it cannot produce a smaller file, the input is kept. After resizing or conversion, it optimises the newly exported PNG; those earlier steps can change image detail and metadata. Target size and percentage reduction remain JPG/WebP features.
JPG and WebP exports use the browser’s quality setting and may lose detail. PNG avoids lossy quality encoding, but browser decoding and export can change metadata and colour representation. Keep the original if exact preservation matters.
Yes. Select up to 20 static PNG, JPG or WebP images, up to 100 MiB combined. Common settings apply to all files, but percentage reduction is calculated from each original size. Files are processed sequentially. Review or download each completed result, or download ready files in a ZIP. Unsupported or unreadable files are marked individually.
